Copernicus for Innovators
Copernicus and Earth Observations - it was the title of the webinar organised on July 7th, 2021 by Podparpacie Innovation Center (PCI). A presentation was given by Michał Krupiński (FPCUP Contact Point from CBK PAN).
New Space Leaders (NSPL) is a unique program addressed to scientists and students from universities in Podkarpacie, as well as innovators looking for new solutions. The NSPL organizes events providing knowledge and strengthening participants' competences in the area of space technology - in particular solutions for nanosatellite constellations, e.g. creating prototypes of on-board research laboratories.
During the NSPL#5, dedicated to EO, Michał Krupiński has been inspiring participants, presenting on monitoring the land surface, oceans, atmosphere and climate change, as well as support in crisis situations which are the main, but not the only, tasks of the European Copernicus program. Why is it worth getting interested in this program? What data, products or information does Copernicus provide? Who can have access to them and how? All these questions were answered during the webinar.
