Training and education on Copernicus products to the National System for Environmental Protection and Research

Training and education to build a community of practice for the use of EO.

Under the FPCUP action ‘Copernicus4SNPA’, the second phase of training and education for the National System for Environmental Protection and Research (SNPA) on Copernicus products, has begun. The goal is to build a community of practice for the use of EO in the institutional tasks of the National System for Environmental Protection. Two training days dedicated to the presentation of Copernicus Program services and case studies have been planned for each Agency in the SNPA.

16 out of 21 Agencies have showed interest in land service. In May and June 2024 there were the first training days in 6 agencies. In the framework the session dedicated to Copernicus Land Monitoring Service (CLMS), the FPCUP action ‘User Uptake of Copernicus Services for Landscape and Spatial Planning Stakeholders’ was introduced.
