12th National Seminar on Snow in Finland

The 12th National Seminar on Snow on the name day of Pyry (blizzard in Finnish) will be held for the first time in Rovaniemi, where FPCUP SNOWLOADS organizes a session on snow mass.

The seminar will take place from the 31th of October to the 1st of November 2024 and will be hosted by the Arctic Centre, University of Lapland, in Rovaniemi at the Arktikum building.

The seminar will cover a range of topics including different aspects of snow research, life in snowy environments and the role of citizen science. The project FPCUP SNOWLOADS organizes a session on snow mass monitoring.

The submission of a presentation is still open until September 30th.
