User Workshop on Climate Services for Urban and Regional Planning

On the 4th of May 2023, the Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD) will be holding a user workshop on climate services for urban and regional planning in Offenbach am Main (in German language). The presentations in the morning introduce the current development status of the new hybrid HOSTRADA 1 km raster climate data for Germany including empirically derived urban heat island intensities and the ORKA-DE web application for nocturnal cold air flow simulations in Germany. The program will be completed by a live demonstration and an interactive afternoon involving the potential users of our climate services in the process of further development.

The workshop will take place at the DWD headquarters in Offenbach am Main. Free registration is possible until April 27, 2023.
