ISPRA presents the 2024 Edition of the Report on “Land consumption, territorial dynamics and ecosystem services”

On 3 December, the 2024 edition of the Report "Land consumption, territorial dynamics and ecosystem services" by the National System for Environmental Protection (SNPA) will be presented at the ISPRA headquarters.

The Report analyses the evolution of land take within a broader framework of analysis of the dynamics of urban, agricultural and natural areas at different levels, through indicators useful to assess the characteristics and trends of consumption, urban growth and landscape metrics, but also of the evolution, distribution and characteristics of vegetation, providing assessments of the impact of the growth of artificial land cover, with particular attention to natural functions lost or threatened.
