Ballypatrick Forest, in County Antrim, Northern Ireland (United Kingdom), lies within the rugged Antrim Plateau. The landscape features conifer plantations, mainly Sitka spruce, intermixed with heathland and blanket bogs.

Conservation efforts in recent years have focused on reforestation, habitat restoration, and protecting local wildlife, including the rare pine marten. The forest is also popular for recreational activities such as hiking, mountain biking, and birdwatching.

This Copernicus Sentinel-2 image, acquired on 28 February 2025, shows the forest from above.

Copernicus provides key data for tracking forest health, biodiversity, and the impacts of climate change, helping to protect ecosystems from habitat degradation.
