After seven years of collaboration, innovation, and progress, the Framework Partnership Agreement for Copernicus User Uptake (FPCUP) has come to a successful conclusion. To mark this milestone, the German Space Agency at DLR, as FPCUP coordinator on behalf of the European Commission, has published a comprehensive FPCUP Booklet highlighting the project’s key achievements, outcomes, and lessons learned.

The FPCUP project has played a central role in strengthening the use of Copernicus Earth observation data and services across Europe and beyond. Through 220 individual actions involving 50 partners from 23 countries, the project has supported a wide range of activities – from developing innovative downstream applications and organizing training events to building cross-border cooperation and promoting Copernicus at national and regional levels.

The newly released FPCUP Booklet presents success stories, highlights, and insights into how national and international collaboration has driven the growth of the Copernicus user community. It also outlines the project’s lasting impact and identifies opportunities for future initiatives and funding efforts that build on the foundation created by FPCUP.
