Marine traffic around Vis Island, Croatia

Vis is one of the most distant inhabited islands from the Croatian coast. 

In the captured by Copernicus Sentinel-2 on August 4, 2024, we can observe increased marine traffic and discern the wake generated by the boats. 

The open data provided by the Copernicus Marine Service are useful for maritime traffic monitoring, helping to improve navigation safety and efficiency.
