Workshop Series: Copernicus Satellite Data in Chile and Latin America | Natural disasters

In the framework of their action "Networking to Promote Application of Copernicus in Chile", The Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) and the Center for Mathematical Modeling (CMM) of the University of Chile are co-hosting the workshop series "Copernicus Satellite Data in Chile and Latin America: From Applications to Networking".

This second set of workshops explored how Copernicus data is used to Monitor, Risk Assess and Mitigate Natural Disasters via a series of presentations from internationally renowned technical experts.

Thematic sessions included:

• Geohazards
• Hydrological hazards
• Wildfires
• Meteorological hazards
