Ambae Volcano is a large shield volcano in northern Vanuatu, in the Pacific Ocean. Its summit caldera contains three lakes: Lake Manaro Voui occupies the central part of the caldera, while Lake Manaro Ngoru lies to the west and Lake Manaro Lakua, the largest of the three, lies to the east.

Actinoform clouds are cloud formations with a distinctive radial shape, creating patterns which resemble giant flowers spread across the atmosphere. They usually form within large layers of marine stratocumulus clouds through interactions between moisture, temperature, wind, and airborne particles.

A submarine eruption began on 8 May 2026 in the central Bismarck Sea, 130 kilometres south-east of Manus Island, Papua New Guinea. The eruption revealed a previously unmapped underwater volcano, now provisionally named Titan Ridge Volcano, in a remote and tectonically active area of the Pacific Ocean.
