Workshop: "Jelly: Systems and tools for locating bloom of jellifish and predicting their desplacement towards the coast"
An International online workshop. “Jelly: Systems and tools for locating bloom of jellifish and predicting their desplacement towards the coast” was organized on 15th june 2022 by ISPRA and Malta University. The workshop was also a platform to provide a way forward on this thematic. Moreover, a roundtable discussion of invited experts was organised to deliver recommendations at the end of the workshop.
The workshop aimed to discuss the latest improvements in the detection, spreading and forecasting of jellyfish blooms and the different experiences on the use of Copernicus data in this field. It will be organized in two sessions: the first concerning the observation methods and the second concerning the occurrence and dispersal forecasting of jellyfish blooms.
