EGNOS Data Access Service (EDAS)

EGNOS Data Access Service (EDAS) provides ground-based access to EGNOS data through the Internet in near real-time. With a controlled access system, EDAS allows users to connect to a variety of services which provide raw GPS, GLONASS, and EGNOS data, plus EGNOS augmentation messages.

EDAS therefore not only assists users in accessing EGNOS satellite data but also supports other added-value services and research activities.

EGNOS ground stations
EDAS high-level architecture

EGNOS ground stations pick up signals from GPS, GLONASS, and EGNOS satellites in geostationary orbit. They process the data and deliver it to EDAS. Users can then access relevant positioning and navigation data stored on EDAS for a variety of applications.
